Sopwell Nunnery Bat Walk

Common Pipistrelle batOn Thursday, 25th August 2016, from 7:30pm until about 9:30pm, the Countryside Management Service & the Ware Bat Group are organising an evening guided walk at the lovely Sopwell Nunnery.

With good weather and a bit of luck, you should be able to see and hear some of the local bat population and any other evening wildlife.

Bat detectors will be provided, but do bring torches.

Best to wear outdoor clothing and walking boots. And do keep an eye on the weather as warmer clothing or waterproofs may be required.

The event is FREE but pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. You can book on-line on the CMS walks website.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, this event has been incorrectly advertised in St Albans NOW magazine, with date, contact details for booking a place and cost of the event all wrong -- these were all taken from our ad from a few years back, or so it would seem.
