The committee
According to our constitution, the committee may consist of a maximum of 15 members. We would be delighted of you would like to join the committee. Further members can be co-opted as required. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us and we will explain the procedure. Alternatively, read the election rules in our constitution.

Does a committee member get paid?
The simple answer is no. As a charity we do not get any financial reward for our work. We all live in the Sopwell ward and are committed to improve the quality of this beautiful area. We do not receive any monies for what we do.
When is the next meeting?
The committee meets every 4 weeks or so and these are generally for members of the committee only. However if you wish to attend, you can do so as a guest. In addition we have at least 2 general meetings a year where every Sopwell resident is invited to attend. Dates for these meetings are announced on this website as well as in the newsletters that are delivered to all households in the Sopwell ward.
